Description
Every lift has an alarm, usually a button or a phone that connects to a help centre via a pre-programmed phone number.
Most lifts have been fitted with a master socket either on top of the lift, within the lift shaft or in a comms room, connected to which is a piece of analogue kit known as an Auto-Dialler – when the emergency button is pressed the Auto-Dialler dials the pre-programmed number direct to the help centre over the Openreach copper lines (PSTN’s).
BUT the PSTN lines are being switched off – although the switch off has been extended lift owners need to be ahead of the game to keep their customers safe and the alarm systems operational.
Our Lift Saver replaces the Openreach master socket, no new cabling or phones required. Calls go over mobile network.
